You can fund your fxTrade account using any of the following payment methods. To deposit funds, sign in to My Funds and click the Deposit button.

5,000 units per month. Immediate. Your bank may charge a service fee.  
PayPal
(only GBP deposits)
No limit for Verified PayPal accounts.
Up to $100 in total from Unverified PayPal accounts.
Up to 1 business day. eCheques will take 1 business day after being cleared by PayPal. A service fee of £0.20 per transfer plus 1.4% of the total amount transferred (or lower, depending on your location) will be deducted from your margin deposit. When depositing with PayPal, your PayPal name and/or email address must match your OANDA account records for a PayPal deposit to be processed. (For entity accounts, both name and email must match.)

Internet banking via Faster Payments
(only GBP deposits)
No limit. However, your bank may impose a limit of £10,000 per transaction. 1-2 business days. Your bank may charge a service fee. Be sure to add your OANDA account number in the reference field to ensure quick processing.
BACS or Internet banking via BACS
(only GBP deposits)
No limit. 2-3 business days. Your bank may charge a service fee.  
CHAPS Wire transfer
(only GBP deposits)
No limit. 1-2 business days. Your bank may charge a service fee. Complete, custom wire instructions are provided when you sign in to My Funds and complete all the deposit-related steps. Please note that the instructions vary by currency. For more information, go to this page.
SWIFT Wire transfer No limit. 3-5 business days. Your bank may charge a service fee. Intermediary banks may also deduct fees from the amount, resulting in a smaller incoming amount than you sent. Complete, custom wire instructions are provided when you sign in to My Funds and complete all the deposit-related steps. Please note that the instructions vary by currency. Notes

  • OANDA cannot accept payments from third parties. Please ensure that the name(s) on the originating account match those on your OANDA account. If you want to receive funds from a third party you need to set up a joint account with that party.
  • For your security, you can only withdraw funds by the same method you used to deposit them into your OANDA account. 
  • OANDA does not charge any fees for incoming deposits made by credit card, debit card, and bank transfers (i.e. wire, BACS, CHAPS, or Internet Banking / Faster Payments). PayPal charge may or may not apply depending on your location.
